WOW - this is a beautiful place, Berkeley Castle is a stunning wedding venue which I have now had the pleasure of working in for the last 5 years. The Great Hall is the main room used for both civil ceremonies & wedding breakfast. It closes to the general public when there is a wedding so becomes exclusively yours for the duration. Caterers that I work with at the venue are Napier Catering who offer a 5 star service!!!!! Check out my website for more pics & contact details www.sororidesign.co.uk

Another pretty wedding took place in October at Berkeley Castle, it was based around pumpkins & seasonal foliages & berries.

The Village Show - along with other things!!!!!!
This last week has all been about carrots & chrysanthemums ( & lots of other veggies & flowers!!)
The local village show in Oldbury on Severn is an annual event, we have entries for lots of classes from children as young as 4 years old to the older generation of nearly 90 years young!!
It's very much a local event with "create a vegetable alien" being one of the classes to " the heaviest marrow". There is plenty of input from villagers but I must confess there could be alot more. I would really like lots more childrens entries & local parents please make a pie or some jam & join us for a little "Jam & Jerusalem" it really is good fun when you get going!!
Only one wedding this weekend, Alderley in the Cotswolds, the ceremony at The Hare & Hounds in Westonbirt. A very happy bride loved her bouquets & when we held them up to the bridesmaids dresses you couldn't have got a better match!! She was chuffed to bits :) Woodland theme with Memory Lane & Sweet Avalanche roses, ivy & snowberries, very pretty, pictures to follow
